Penn State faculty are invited to submit a proposal for one of several Faculty Engagement Awards sponsored annually by ITS Teaching and Learning with Technology. The award program offers funding and staff support to enable exploration of innovative applications of technology to improve teaching and learning.

This year’s awards will be granted to proposals on the theme of “active classroom technologies.”

Specific topics of inquiry could include—among others—unique use of physical classroom space; the role of technology in the classroom to engage students in a new way; classroom activities using clickers, tablets, or mobile apps; and use of video in blended or online courses.

For more details on this year’s theme and to complete the brief online proposal form, visit http://tlt.psu.edu/engagement/faculty-engagement-initiative/awards/. The deadline to submit a proposal is May 15.

For any questions regarding the Faculty Engagement Awards, email bkp10@psu.edu.
