Members of the Penn State learning design community are invited to attend Learning Design Summer Camp on Thursday, July 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This year’s event will be held virtually using videoconference software to connect participants and avoid travel costs. Save the date and plan to join the community online for this year’s event, organized through a cross-unit collaboration.

To register, complete the brief online registration form.

The planning team is still seeking speakers from the Penn State community to present on learning design topics at the event. Do you have a topic you can speak on? Did you attend a conference event this year where you learned something interesting about Canvas or another topic? Sign up to be a speaker at Camp on any of the following themes:

  • Canvas
  • Teaching technologies
  • Assessment
  • Pedagogy
  • Resident/blended/online learning
  • Attended conference reporting
  • Suggest a topic/misc.

Sessions will be 30 minutes, 45 minutes, or one hour. The planning team hopes to run two sessions concurrently. To express your interest in presenting, fill out the request form by June 27.
