It’s that time of the year again: time for instructors to look at the software they need to teach courses in the fall semester.
Instructors who are teaching in Penn State Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT)’s labs and technology classrooms in the fall should submit software requests by Monday, June 25.
Instructors, especially those who will be teaching new fall courses, need to submit a request each year, per TLT Learning Applications and Technologies (LAT) policy.
Software available in previous semesters may be removed from computers if it is not requested again.
For all lab and classroom computers, Windows systems will remain on Windows 10. Mac systems will be upgraded to High Sierra (10.13.4). Please make sure that each requested software package is compatible with these operating systems.
TLT currently manages 116 labs across 39 buildings at the University Park campus. It also equips and supports several general-purpose technology classrooms that are available for scheduling through the Registrar’s office.
