There, a number of sanctions could be imposed if the student is found responsible of a violation of academic integrity. Some examples of penalties include a zero for the assignment, a reduction in course grade or a failing grade for the course.

University disciplinary sanctions may also be assigned and are reserved for the most serious breaches of academic integrity, particularly if a student has been found responsible for a previous violation of academic integrity.
