This summer, starting July 14, the AI Horizons community is launching a five-week mini-series titled “Summer School (But Cooler),” designed to keep ideas flowing with light, engaging content. Each Monday, community members in the AI Horizons Teams space will receive a short blog post exploring one of Stuart Selber’s five foundational AI tenets. The series invites faculty and staff to reflect on how these ideas apply in their own disciplines, offering insights grounded in higher education practice.
To foster engagement without the pressure of traditional coursework, each weekly post includes three optional levels of interaction: a quick poll or one-word prompt (Level 1), a reflective discussion question (Level 2), and a creative or applied activity (Level 3). Whether you’re reading from the beach or your office, “AI Horizons: Summer School (But Cooler)” encourages thoughtful participation, culminating with a live discussion featuring Selber himself to wrap up the series in August.
