Impact Statement

{

TLT has helped me develop my own pedagogical philosophy while also improving my awareness of classroom technologies. The workshops and events I attended ranged from faculty library resources, syllabus development, Gen AI-integrated teaching and learning strategies, classroom conversations using Gen AI, and digital whiteboards. All the sessions were inclusive, and I also gained insights through the discussion with my peers. Particularly, I found the “Preparing Your Penn State Syllabus” session helpful, where I was able to get individualized feedback from the specialist on how to communicate explicit class goals clearly and expectations with students. In the future, I would like to use some of the Penn State library resources in my classroom so that I do not have to cover all the materials myself and direct students to helpful research or book resources for their study.
