Dreamery Class Proposal

Teach in the Dreamery: Call for Proposals for Fall 2025 & Spring 2026

Are you ready to take your teaching to the next level? The Dreamery, Penn State’s co-learning lab, is now accepting proposals for Fall 2025 and Spring 2026.

We’re inviting faculty to bring their courses into the Dreamery and explore how this unique space can enhance teaching and deepen student engagement. Whether through immersive technology, interactive experiences, or creative media tools, this is your chance to elevate your course and create meaningful learning opportunities.

What’s Available to You

  • Access to VR headsets and IMEX consulting
  • Use of the One Button Studio, Podcast Studio and Influencer Booth
  • Exploration with the Mixed Reality Studio and AI Arcade
  • Hands-on workshops with the Media Commons
  • Facilitated experiences with the Interactive Experiences (IE) team

What to Expect

  • A collaborative orientation session with TLT experts—learning designers, media consultants, and VR specialists—who will help you plan and integrate these tools into your course.
  • Flexible scheduling that prioritizes your class in the Dreamery space. Occasionally, a major event may require shifting your session to the Media Commons (in the same building, same floor), with opportunities for your class to engage with special events.

Ready to Apply?

Complete the short proposal form by providing your course details, semester preference, and how you plan to use the Dreamery’s resources to enhance your teaching and engage your students.

Proposals are due by Monday, March 31st.

Unfortunately, due to the availability of the Shields Building, we are only able to accommodate classes that meet between 8:00 a.m. and 4:20 p.m.

We’re excited to hear your ideas and support your journey!
