Impact Statement
I attended the TLT Symposium. I am not a very tech savvy person so I was worried that I would be lost and not understand much at the sessions. I couldn’t have been more wrong! The sessions were very easy to understand and it was not intimidating at all. At the 2025 Symposium, I learned more about Top Hat and I will be incorporating that into my classroom for polls and attendance.
Programs and Events
The Teaching and Learning with Technology Symposium, TLT’s signature annual event, brings together ideas and people with the power to transform education.
Top Hat is Penn State’s Student Response System and Learning Engagement Platform. During class, drive discussions, take live polls, and give students real-time feedback. Outside of class, instructors can create and personalize interactive content, assignments, and assessments.
