The Operations and Communications team under Dean’s leadership plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth integration and operation of the Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT) department. By optimizing internal processes, overseeing key events like the TLT Symposium, managing budgets, and publishing TLT news stories to Penn State News, the team empowers every member of TLT to work more efficiently and collaborate more effectively.

Dean holds a Master of Education in Learning, Design, and Technology, a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, and an Associate of Science in Information Sciences and Technology, all from Penn State. He also teaches IT Project Management (IST 302) at the university.
