Markus Fürer is the Manager of the Interactive Experiences team within Teaching and Learning with Technology. The team focuses on exploring, developing, and facilitating experiences centered around emerging technologies. Their projects are designed to leverage cutting-edge technologies, simplify complexity, and increase adoption, thereby empowering the Penn State community with innovative resources and fostering an environment where interactive learning thrives. The team also manages the Dreamery and provides ongoing support to various TLT offerings. Markus holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications: Media Studies from Penn State and is currently pursuing a Master of Science. With over 11 years of experience in the IT space, he has expertise in emerging technologies, data analytics, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
