The Teaching and Learning with Technology Symposium, TLT’s signature annual event, brings together ideas and people with the power to transform education. The day’s events include presentations, discussions, workshops, networking, awards and more focused on unlocking technology’s potential to improve teaching and learning. At this free event, faculty and staff have the opportunity to share how they are using technology in unique ways, interact with other colleagues and generate new project ideas.

Teaching and Learning with Technology welcomes one expert from an outside institution each semester to share their knowledge on higher education topics as part of the Dreamery Speaker Series.
Recent topics have included Universal Design for Learning, Intentionality and Student Success, the Influence of Learning Spaces on Learning and the Shift to Generative AI.
Learning Tools for Teaching Week is designed for faculty and staff who want to deepen their knowledge of campus-supported tools, gain hands-on experience, and discover new ways to develop professional skills and/or enhance classroom learning and engagement.
Each day spotlights one Penn State Enterprise Learning platform. Representatives from each platform will provide an overview of the platform and highlight how the features support teaching and learning. Presentations will be followed by interactive workshops to explore the tools in action.

A Different Kind of Technology Event
As opposed to traditional events where attendees passively listen to a variety of speakers, MAKEiT features hands-on activities that focus on a showcase of artificial technologies. MAKEiT is about thinking collaboratively with colleagues, learning through making and using creativity to explore new solutions.
